A Prophet Scorned

She sent me waves of her love
Could say it was from a dove
Crashing upon my shore
Truly, it is love I adore

She has got it all and then some
Her looks, her gestures, her strum
So I responded with what I thought was little
Turned out tsunamis can belittle

Saw you in the limelight
Oh what a beautiful sight!
Can’t say I am surprised
Jealous love is comprised

Need that song you chose not to sing
Need that love you chose not to bring
Need that life you chose to sacrifice
Need that joy you chose without price

I have knowledge beyond the cosmos in my brain
I have a kind of love that is greater than the grain
To sing and bring love and sacrifice without price
I think I repeated myself not twice but thrice

I wonder at the divinity of those and things
At what it delivers us from and delightfully brings
Peace, Joy, Love, Happiness, Kinship, Divinity
Deification by the Most Holy Trinity

Inspired by Him who is and works His Will
I saw the future and it made me ill
So what can I do but pray
I have nothing more to say

My love for you gets stronger
With every day that passes it gets longer
Sustained by God’s divine forces
I can hear the lonely voices

Saying nothing but what they want for themselves
For things that you can only put on shelves
With the odd torch burning brightly
Saying, “God is here, tread lightly”

I have seen His Majesty and He is not pleased
But has compassion and wants you eased
A message of salvation unfurled before your eyes
A cosmic tapestry of love beyond the skies

So hold close to your heart this love that is true
I would do anything for you
Die trying if I have to
Saying all along, I really love you

Going back into time I saw your face
Remembered you for your love I trace
With my fingertips on your spine
Sharing with you my love sublime

I can stand with the Lord amidst all the noise
And hear His voice in my heart with poise
Guiding me, speaking softly and intently
A discovery to embark on a journey

I turn to you with His Fire in my eyes
Worry not, it is not you I despise
I offer my hand and say, watch love destroy a lie
With a compassionate and gentle prayer and sigh

Where do you look with your eyes the most?
I would expect that extraordinary Host
What does your pupil allow to enter undisguised?
It should be the poor, lonely, and despised

For in their eyes they hold the true Light
That spark of love for which you fight
In God’s eyes a particular delight
So treat them however you like

See what happens when Grace turns to Wrath
Wishing every eye was upon Him and His Path
Following His bloody foot prints
Make way for the Heavenly Prince

But you do not heed to His Majesty
To know Love’s Grand Tapestry
Is weaving through time and space
A message I’d love to give face to face

So when every eye is upon Him
The Ageless One will stand on the brim
With every notion of love and direction
To bring peace and love and resurrection

I guess I am like an angel
For an angel is a messenger from God
And that I have a message to deliver:
To read His Messages and to love

Sure, read His message here
But what I am referring to exactly
Is the Grand Message of Love
True Life in God

For I have read them all for thirty years
As I followed them to receive Understanding
Of the Knowledge and Wisdom provided
I was delivered and completely guided

To live a true life of love
No matter what happens
But a word of caution
His Knowledge is a gift and a burden

To enter into it unknowingly will only confuse
For one must bear their own cross with humility
United with Him on that Cross is the only way
An entrance to the Grand Tapestry of Love

The key to it all, to living and loving
Is to surrender to Love’s call to be
A living torch of compassion
And with every touch, imbue love

I have been saying for a long time
Unite under the one name Jesus to be saved
Unite under His New Name to be raised
His New Name you cannot sense with your senses

So for me to even say His Name would be folly
In truth, Christ has a middle Name
Only a very small remnant know what It is
That is the state of the world today

If anyone is to ask who I am
Tell them that I am a living tablet
Upon which God has inscribed Himself
The Words of Eternal Life

For truly I cannot die and not meant to
Peter had it right and still does
Lord, you have the Words of Eternal Life
Now He is with Us always and forever

Know that I am all alone these days
Walking bound and blind in a haze
But His Strength always shines through
At my weakest it even feels to be true

Her face cannot disappear from my mind
The beauty of her soul a very rare find
Seeking a certain kind and Sacred Heart
Means I am already found from the start

What this world needs is inexplicable
Feeling like I am not even able
Yet I somehow stand up despite the pain
And on a good day command the rain

Many have forgotten about Him
The Holy Spirit, that is
Misunderstood and underestimated
He has all the Power and IS the Power
But He uses it wisely
People want Him to do things that are evil

Why should the Holy Spirit strike down your neighbour?
When your command was to love your neighbour
Why should the Holy Spirit answer your prayer for blood?
When you should be humble and drink His instead
For the power of His Most Holy Spirit is Love

Love has many forms
Sex is not one of them
Sex can be an act of love
But is not love itself

Love is an offering of one’s self
To do that which is rather meant to be
An act of kindness, charity, and compassion
Towards those whom we all have a passion

Ultimately the Passion is His
Never dismissing anyone who is
Where forgiveness is an ocean
And mercy is sailing toward the New Heaven

Soon the voyage will end
To enter into a new beginning
My silence deafening to some
Listening to my lonely heart I am to blame

I found that love extinguishes and enhances pain
Requiring endurance and charity to thrive and sustain
I know because I taste love in its purest form
Like drinking sunshine filled with joy so warm

I drink it all by the Love of God
Inebriated on His Gift beyond all laud
Who then could I possibly be?
That the earth laid herself low for me

I stand invisible before the nations all alone
I am done warning now, I wish I had known
Going away is hard to do because I love you
Last time I had to leave, I died not you

This time I will move on for good from thee
Since you want nothing to do with me
I felt the rejection plain and simply
Hope you never notice or hear me leave

You must understand by now
That I am a nobody, a wretched sinner somehow
Whose mission is to witness until Christ’s Return
Now I am ready to rest in an urn

If He is already here why would I want to leave?
In truth it is because I suffer every day to bereave
That I suffer not really but rather He
By my wickedness He suffers which must end by me

I am easily forgotten no matter where I am
Not one so-called friend reached out, damn
I could never ask you to love me back
Instead I am ignored then kicked in the sack

I made you feel guilty for your sins against me
As you should feel for your lack of charity
Nobody wants to connect outside of the Internet
In my heart, my love for you is forever set

Soon it will be time for me to go
I only want you to know I love you so
Hope you reconcile as my heart is yours
Exposed and suffering as I deserve

I do mean to rush things because look around
My witnessing has come without a sound
Not for my sake, but for the lost, I say
Remember that Christ is the Way

So sing a new song unto the Lord
I wanna hear it and be really floored
In a good way bring me to my knees in prayer
Rebuild the stone foundation layer by layer

Wrapped around that cornerstone I never let go
I Know my place before the Lord, I told you so
But am I done prophesying as you may wonder
I have held back a lot already asunder

Just so you know I still feel like a prisoner
Blinded by the world I simply pray for
Pacing pain and enduring suffering
I am relieved with love as I sing

Giving love is better
It breaks the fetter
Looking at mine I am still shackled
Waiting for that love I saw crackled

I dreamt I was in Heaven
I received all the Love times seven
Flowing through God forever
Entering into a new endeavour

My faith is that the Lord’s will be done
As it is with the Father’s only Son
Stooped down low from Heaven to Earth
And spoke light into the darkness before the birth

Born into the light has a certain fate
Where one is always a target of awful hate
Just like Christ as it is said
Standing here alone among the dead

Hold fast and close to the Lord’s heart
Now I am off to a lonely start
Wish you were here with me now
My love is always yours if you allow

So harden not your heart
I loved you from the very start
Love incarnate once again
Now they judge me again and again

I want to be entangled in your love
With the love that comes from above
You matter most to me in every way
But I live in captivity and have no say

My prayers are for you to be
Happy with blessings to see
That loves comes in many forms
All of which, like you, are like storms

Unrelenting and unstoppable
In every case not optional
This is the unconditional
Never throwing away the traditional

I savour every moment you share
And silently write musings to bare
My soul and all I am
To you from within the Great I Am

Wish you would taste of the love I give
And understood it as a way to live
I love you as though we were entangled
No secrets and everything newfangled

I never wanted it this way
But it makes me wonder anyway
What would have happened
If I was not here in the end

I love you forever and always
Did my best to intervene in many ways
One way is through prayer and fasting
What did I say and did it sting?

I was bent on warning others
Lost all of my brothers
Nowhere to go to anymore
Just laying here on the floor

Dying here and wanton of death
In so much pain and out of breath
Do I want a mercy killing for the suffering
Or do I endure it with love bound to a ring?

Let me tell you I choose to endure instead
Never alone whilst I do so in my head
Fighting not for myself and I am floored
By witnessing an answered prayer, never bored
