Into the depths of your love
Experience the breadths of joy
All different kinds just like you
No enemies I can find

Need for security fulfilled
Amidst any suffering endured
Just like our Saviour
But here I am crying out, save us!

So I peer into Heaven while on Earth
Between places I will not move
Knowing what is in my heart, I love
Yet I notice Heaven so very silent these days

The gasps and the groans I do not mind
Like a moving picture in the sky, I try
All of them watched and can see me die
But my eyes opened and breath entered me

I never question His actions but I do ponder them
So much I want to give to you to show you
Let me boast of God’s Glory to assure of His power
Keeping us safe and happy amidst cold cold hearts

Your song brought me to tears
Accelerating my heart and changing gears
The temptation to sing along
Met with silence so very long

I have been told and my heart is like gold
Precious to easily melt and fold
I am left alone to my own devices
Crushed by the sin and these vices

I found my calling in scriptures
Not in any moving pictures
Next is the advent of change
For a better world, not strange

We never met in life, not fair
But the connection is there
Summoned by a wish
I am but a small fish
In a very large sea
Wanting to be caught by you to be
Yours

Truth be told, I am worthless
In a world that worships nonetheless
All those idols and cash
Don’t think that I am rash
So why would you want me
To be anything just to be
Yours

I fell hard when I looked deep
It gets personal if too deep
So I dove into the depths of your love
Found tenderness fits like a glove
But I am lamenting the loss of me
To be gone forever and never be
Yours

I love you but you do not love me back
Might as well just kick me in the sack
I am used to the pain already
So full of suffering, I am ready

I no longer concern myself with why
Likely due to a misunderstood sigh
As I contemplate a higher self
I am ill content being put on the shelf

What I see and learn over time
I convey in a simple rhyme
To loosen the captive fetters
Adhering to the Roman letters

Though my voice is small
It will soon be tall
As is the order I heard
One that is not absurd

The Lord is here and now
Will you assume another vow?
He waits patiently for a response
Ever since the Renaissance

I once was bold before the Lord
Brandishing love like a sword
I fell my enemies with compassion
Loved them to a passion

Just like a blind beggar I beg you
Love me back I tell you
Is that too much to ask?
To put someone to task?

The Lord saw my boldness
Stopped me before foolishness
And set my small heart on fire
It burns always under the wire

Now with my heart burning
While the world is churning
I tell you now to repent
My whole life is utterly spent

You need to accept the reality of truth
Let it wash over you as acceptance
Diffused light gives no direction
As do those who are not in Christ’s light

The wages of sin is death
And the power of sin is the law
More true now than ever
Watch as people abuse that power

Whatever it is that I did to hurt you
Feel me when I say that I am sorry
That I will do better until next time
I shall take away what you give me
And return better having known
That love mends all brokenness
So broken am I and need your love
So pour it out freely until you soar from it

My sorrow rests on the knowledge
That nothing will take away my suffering
Rather, I am to thrive in it and grow
Learn to control it
Live above it
Love instead of hate
Be charitable instead of jealous
Be kind instead of mean
It takes a decision to be such

But you pretend Christ is not here
And live pure evil in the shadows
The rich never change
Their harrowing evil ways are the same
As they were two thousand years ago
Back then only tables were turned
Soon the table indeed turn

If you knew then what you know now
Circumstantial evidence somehow
That everything has an edge
Towards being love and more

Filled to the core
Wanting you more
What I see I reveal
Hopefully surreal

Over and over again
Dancing and twirling to gain
With a foot and a stool
Stepping up above the pool

Ignored, I am cast aside
Every day I reside
In His shadow so I hide
To be alone by my side

Now I mix my words
You mix music with swords
Biting into a mystical appeal
Towards breaking the seal

What I break into to see
A real instance of power
Not to be messed with simply
As fortitude will be set free

Lifting up the brokenhearted
Is something He started
As their hearts are glorious
His Love notorious

She strengthened me with her love
But when push came to shove
I caved and let her knock me down
Now I’m on the ground with a frown

Continued until death marks the spot
Though I died like I was shot
Raised up like it was just a dream
Life changed forever as a stream

Of forgiveness oh it is key
With love essentially
Raising the dead from their trench
Ridding the world of its stench

Now I am wondering
Seeking the lost wandering
Observing the lost in their rue
Seeing that heathens have more love than you

Only you
Can help me through
This difficult time
This difficult rhyme

I thought I found
What goes around
To come around
To be unbound

I wonder as I wake
It’s a slice of cake
Not being irate
As of late

These words are meaningless drivel
Never thought it to be civil
As evident by the lack of response
Over the years not like the renaissance

If you found me amidst the lowly
You know what it is that I told thee
But what you truly want may only come with time
As the world tears itself apart

With no true leader to guide them
They console themselves in sin and tears
Setting before them all of their fears
Washed away by the mercy of Him who comes

Know this, that the truth always calls for justice
Under whose name did they commit their sins?
To the heart of the matter that the lost are forsaken
Amidst the crazy ones you may have even found me

Imprisoned by your earthly dominions
I subject myself to your unrelenting cries for help
And call upon every fibre of my being with my Sprit
My friend and companion to aid in an extraordinary way
