I cannot contain
The searing pain
Of never having seen you last
My future looks dim
Going out on a whim
Graces attained while I fast
Nothing can take away
Anything I have gained
By way of love and peace
Those outside this day
Gnash their teeth and complain
Nobody loves me
Evidence surmounting
Not circumstancing
But I still love them anyway
My journey thus far
A life in a jar
Holding everything back
My inclinations
Would crush every nation
So I pray for mercy instead
Where there is love

I can sense the fury
I can see the rage
The devil losing his grip
Of his hand on the throats
Of all the nations
Watch love come out of the shadows
Breaking the captive fetters
I know what’s in my Heart
A hidden treasure I have found
Delight of my soul
The Lord of Hosts resides
His love is beyond the cosmos
Beyond measure and sin
Thus it is mine to give
And I offer it freely to the world
But they deny it in person
Just as they deny it here
Everywhere I indeed know why
Uncertainty comes to mind
Well take a leap of faith then
That is what it is for
Breaking the barrier
Between the known and unknown
Now death surrounds
Suffocates and denies
The beat of beats
The heart’s symphony
Tears fill my eyes
Over the inability

Please do not deny

To envelop you in His light

Sound with the light of love
The Lord turns to us to face us
To protect us
To love us
To redeem us
In these darkest of times
For this calamity will spread like fire
Years fly by in a flash
Every one without you
Been wondering
Where it is you went
Far away it may be
Closer than ever it seems
My heart never lies
And says you’re in it for Love
Goodness and glory
In a pinch a story
Comes out as gory
For that, I am sorry
I can only imagine
What you might say
In the wake of what I have done

Got me locked up because of it
How are you holding up?
I guess I am a little drastic
Verbs come back elastic
Suckered into all that plastic
Things are getting a little rustic
Here is my appeal
Share as you see fit
If by this Easter
The lockdowns persist
Please, before you eat
On the day of the Last Supper
Perform the Last Supper
In remembrance of Him
And the Lord will bless you abundantly
The inkling that came
Arrived just the same
Untold mercy and love
This is not some game
But you play anyway
Thinking a certain way
But Graces are for God’s Glory
And loving each other, okay?
So perhaps it is as such
That you do not know how to love
Or refuse because you prefer to hate
Which is it then, ask yourselves
My Heart still bleeds profusely
That you be forewarned
Without repentance
Things always get worse
Poured my heart out
Could not ever doubt
That your love so ever real
Worked its way to seal
A love bound in blood
This heart is no dud
Still beating gloriously
And yours is lovely
But I would do away with it all
If love somehow does not find a way
Of finding me before it is too late
Our Father will have already answered
Been around long enough
To know Love
Which is the greatest joy
For Love is a decision
With benefits
Been everywhere and nowhere
Glancing for glances
Looking for the one
With that glint in her eye
Speaking volumes from her lips
A perfect combination
Of flaws and grace
Her heart is one with mine
I listen to the silence
Like golden sunshine
In a dark and dreary place
In exile I write
My heart exposed
Open and free
Your embrace is heavy
Burdened with worry
Take it to heart
I am trying to save you
