Look not at the crude flesh before you
For that is all that it is
Though it’s purpose is short and cyclical
There is life beyond death
To taste the everlasting life
Is to taste death
Alas, your sins cripple Christ’s Body
Don’t you see you are united with Him?
In sovereignty and in glory
Not just some story
The work that I do leaves a mark
An outcome that comes as a result
Is meant to be
I wrangle with my words
Choosing what is best to match inklings
Enduring the impatience of others
We wait for the Final Glory
Where Christ chooses their fate
What they do with it is up to them
So with that my life is sustained
United beyond everything
Misunderstood at best
I live because I became love
Desiring nothing else from others
Love that lives never dies
I choose love and compassion
Because it is always a choice
The epitome of freedom
Adjoining with grace
It produces bountiful gifts
So do big things
And do little things
All with the salt of love
Worry not the measure given and received
For the Lord’s wise accounting
Is the Truth of all things
Would you have come if I asked you to?
Were I to fetch you because I need you
Would you come to see me?
Through faith I asked for special favour
Which was granted me to savour
The moments and the glory
My foundation is the same as Love
No greater strength than Christ
Union of body, soul, and mind
Under one roof
Under one banner
That banner is love
If you have not love
Nothingness remains
The drugs they forced me on are stigmatic
Certain opportunities gone makes them ecstatic
Never wanting me any power
They want me to be a slave to a tower
Because of the good work that I do
And because I love you
Every day that goes by for me
Is a thousand years I journey
Make me wait a few days for your love
And I learn patience the second day from above
But it goes much deeper than that
Where hearts become one I need to chat
I have this Love
I find difficult to describe
Because the visceral reaction
Is love in action
To perform love deeds
Planted like seeds
I dream to be invisible
But able to heal
Perform miracles
And the like
For His Glory not mine
But the truth is
I have been stripped of any power
Became nobody but a flower
That died one day and lived again
And any deeds of power I do
Is really Him and not me
Don’t you see?
So many are living a lie
Without knowing it or without a try
They succumb to their wounds
Wounded daily by misdeeds
Fuels their hate into flames
A chaotic enterprise for sure
Then comes the blame
The way out is the truth
Of the defiance and ignorance
But also the love and the gain
Disregarding the pain
Meant to sustain
So much joy you will dance again
So dance with me then
Displaying joy more for them
To make them wonder
Where did it come from
This Love
Trying to be graceful
With forgiveness
But I am clumsy
So I love no matter what
Grace becomes me
And I always see
Truth, Love, and Joy
But also I can see
The absence of it
And it makes me truly sad
To the point where I get mad
And endure great suffering
To deter the dead from eternal death
So help me spread the word to the world
That Christ’s love is the way
Watching the leaves leave
Their beauty paused to take a breath
Collectively ensuring
That they share the same fate
But sometimes just sometimes
The beauty of that leaf
Is eternally portrayed and saved
But only God can take that leaf
And breathe into it new life
What parts of you are to be saved?
Like the leaf a memory is what remains
But take them all for granted
And they will literally take your breath away
Knowing that I am covered in His Blood
Climbing where it is steepest
Those that dare to follow
Will discover His jealous love
To heal your broken heart
You must allow it to be touched
Give in to Him and to His love
So just where do you find Him?
Just look closely for His imitators
You will know them by their joy and their pain
Living in grace and protected fiercely
For we are His Children of Love
Never ever have I ever been
In love with you as I am now
Growing every day
I fight to say
Just how much I do
So the Lord has fitted me with power
Stitched onto my tapestry of love
A love story to capture hearts
To find love in the darkest of places
And raise the dead just the same
I journeyed to the wastelands of hate
Touching the gravity and weight
That hate ruins and and divides
Observing the trail left behind
I can see only death in its wake
Then there are those
Who would bash and destroy
What God has made from love
Because they themselves are jealous
Of the immortality that flowers
The Lord grants me the words and inspiration
To be fully crowned in the Glory of God
Nothing escapes the eyes of Him
So listen closely now, I say
Repent with love this day
What else can I say?
God’s love is here to stay
Wish you were here by my side
I will take you on a ride
Since I cannot ever die
I do not even need to try
To live in love with you
Which is where my love is true
Oh in my heart for her
Is love that is true
For someone so special
She was declared Queen
Someone I can touch
With the music of my soul
And never be turned away
Always listening
And giving God praise
The only one worthy
To be called Mother of God
So troubled are those by these titles
They misunderstand the Love of God
Only when touched by His Spirit
Will they finally understand
I have judged the Earth on its ways
The poor have cried out these days
More than ever I feel their pain
I heard their cry of disdain
You have no right to complain
As I call forth this love
Nobody listens to the cause
Instead they dig deeper holes
Watch the angels pour out their bowls
Did I tell you that I have this fire?
It burns all the way up the spire
Letting those that see and hear
The truth that burns their ear
I have got nothing else but fire
To burn the false and the liar
In their place rest their ashes
Did I not warn before the flashes?
I give the direction of the flames
To consume the one who blames
Got the Good Lord beside me
Instructing me in His Way for me
Now I have no fear of this fire that comes
Rather rejoice in song playing drums
Look to the Son for the final call
With my face set like flint to burn it all
In your presence
I wish to be
Not for myself
But for thee entirely
Lifted by His Spirit
In light of His power
I admonished the wicked
And was tortured for it
Now this light of mine
Forever will shine
Into the darkness
That you wish to revel
So I dismiss your puny power
For I lived after death
Despite your wish
That I died instead
I laugh in the face of evil
At their futile attempts
To circumvent divine power
For their selfish gain
Behold the power
Is in my hands forever
Caused by the nails of hate
I join myself to His fate
Now I have nothing to lose
For what is lost is forgotten
The love with which you wish to convey
Cannot cause this heart-wrenching pain
Without such lies in the way
Unbelievably unrelenting suffering
Should not be the go to
To save the lost from themselves
As their apathy digs their grave
I plead to the Father on your behalf
Despite how much pain you caused
As it is with you and the rest
Ignorance parading as your best
Leaving me in the dark
Trying to ignite love from a spark
So I swirl my words around your heart
With the hope that you will start
To love me just the same
I must be really lame
If you only knew the tears I bore
For losing you in this war
My dreams as of late
Are about you and me on a date
I have in my hands my heart
Offering to you a new start
Only to be spun around
Feeling like I drowned
I do not have any friends
No one to follow me to great ends
For the path I dare tread
Was rocky, steep, and covered in His blood
Now I am here my dear
Saturated in grace not fear
Wanting your attention
I have great intention
For my only purpose is to love
Anyone who is lost
For you veered from His path long ago
Seeking you after your final show
It is just a matter of time
That someone will steal my rhyme
For that is what this world is about
Theft for personal gain
Only the rich are to blame
