A Prophet Scorned

Slipping away from this place
Looking with envy at the dead
Not understanding
Why you have to be so cold

My tears tore a hole
In my heart and soul
Breathing in fire
Exhaling desire

Just to be with you
It is you I pursue
With love and grace
Wish to see your face

Said so much over the years
Spilled my own blood over tears
The pain of never knowing
It is for you my love is sowing

Heard the devil say
Go straight to hell
Like dust I brushed it off
Can see the web of lies
Painting me in a different light
Than the love I am I give
Powerful people ignore me
Do not even know me
Then I will say in the end
I do not even know you
As you never knew me
In the least of those on earth
Exacerbated by the virus
How you treat them thus me
You will indeed be judged harshly

Tired of warning you of the evil
That comes to destroy
I know love
Sacrificial Love I have lived
Over and over again

This heart beats the beat
But the hard of heart I know
Cracked the hardest part
Loved the edge of living
Delivered many a gift

This very life does not matter
The Lord delivers a thousand years
In a moment like a day
As I step into this darkness before you
I am with you to the end
Truly the end has already come
And it’s end is already delayed

Now I brandish this sword of flame
It’s ambience scatters evil like cockroaches…

What does it mean to be Catholic?
Without the true presence
Mass is just not the same
You must receive Him
Body and Blood
Soul and Divinity
In order to be one with Him

This evil that has come upon us
Will be vanquished by Christ
By the Love that He gives through others
One with the front line
One with the dead
One with thee even
It is as I said

With those He is one
And His memory is theirs
They do not even know it yet
Like a thief He said

Listen to the tune
To reveal something true
To the song that rings
Upon Heavenly things

I have been consoled
Despite my surroundings
Despite the evil that lurks
Always in the shadows

It is what makes the shadows
That indeed shall come to light
Harbouring evil and the like
Everyone will be silent before the Lord

His glorious reign
Inevitably attained
By those who love Him
Heart and Soul

And they shall all see
His marvellous Light
Like fire it consumes
Like water it quenches

Surrounded always
Attacked always
Forgiving always
For if they only knew…

So why am I consoled?
Betrothed to Love I am
And Mercy comes as promised
Ready to embark on another journey in Christ

Looking back
Life on track
Wondering
Whether or not
Those who have been raised
Behave differently
Like they should
Like in the book of Romans
The glorification of faith

Rendition me into your songs
Your music of love that brings
Joys and delights galore
Filling a room with marvellous light

I scoured the earth for you
Found you and loved you
Brought you into my home
This House to the Lord I belong

All day long
My Heart sings praises
Praises to the King
Of all creation
Of all the heavens
Of all the cosmos
He delights me with His presence
When I am lonely and alone
Covering me with His mantle
Keeping me safe from all harm

The pain is unrelenting
Suffering goes hand in hand
Offered up for redemption
Of those lost by the damned

In my prayers I found myself
That ode of longing
That joy of knowing
Which brings us all together
That common theme
That thirst to believe

Love is always the key
My persistence may overwhelm
Or underwhelm
Depending on where you are at

Real Truth sometimes hurts
But when it doesn’t
That is when Joy becomes complete
Safe in the knowledge
That no matter what happens
No lie can upturn the truth before Christ

My self
Before I died
To myself
For Christ
Out of Love
Was nothing

After death
Comes the resurrection
Into life
Comes love

I journeyed through the darkness
With Christ as my guiding light
Envy overtook them
They tried to take away my Christ

I can tell you they failed
For nothing can shake my faith
Simply knowing His name always saves
Now they epitomize self-obliteration

So sing for me a new song
A song of love and peace
Joyfully bringing together
The lives chosen for the feast

Christ has gone out looking
For the rejected, lost, and lame
Undeserved of this very gift
But invited to the wedding feast all the same

You heard the parable
Now it is a prophecy

With a heavy heart I start
Burning desires apart
With Heavenly gifts present

I caution you all against
Apathy and tepidness
For God will circumvent

I pray for mercy for all
To my dismay they fall
Toward the cast of death

So many go down
So many go under
So many asunder

Unity is far off and near
As Christ has already returned
The day and hour you know not

Not even the Son
So ask Him not
His answers are wrought with Love

I am just the faintest glimmer
In the super large sea of stars
Told to come to deliver
A message of truth and hope

Not meant to be widespread
Just enough to be wise not dead
The pouring out of my life and love
Witnessing inevitably certain demise

I watch them fall
Watch my tears fall
Their exclusion of God
In all things they ought

I fired a warning shot
And set this train in motion
Time is almost up now
Before the Revelation of Christ’s Return

There I was dreaming
While you were there screaming
A frantic and unruly reply

I told you I love you
Do anything for you
Instead all I get is null

Now the world is frantic
No longer semantic
Better get straight with God

This is just the beginning
All love is forgiving
The giving of yourself without whining

I warned the world
I shall warn again, albiet ignored
Leaving a trail of dust in my wake

I don’t come to you
With eloquence of speech
Or boasts of cash

I come to you as a beggar
To love one another
Else you will destroy yourselves
