Among men I am a god
But next to God I am nothing
He makes me everything in unity
I like to love
Love to love
Love worth chasing
For glory and nothing else

In their weakness they are blind
I will open their eyes
To see the light of love
And the power to overcome it
Seeing the truth for what it is

I lifted the veil to get a peek
Found Jesus underneath
No one noticed
His Spirit is here to stay
To bring peace and love
Through the wonderful dove

So listen closely while I write my thunder
Sounding around the world in wonder
Making real the love that was lost
And now it has been found
Love has been found
I wonder

It is simple
United with him in his death
An innocent death on a cross
United with him in his descent into Hell
A necessary three days of darkness
United with him in his resurrection
A proclamation of Glory
United with him in his ascension into Heaven
While here it is but a taste
United with him in his return
That day has already come
None are the wiser
They need to see beyond the veil
Before the great revelation

I am but a mere tendril of love
Reaching out
Easily broken
Though only a mere tendril
Of infinite love

I hide my tears as they do not shine
So they flow like a river and flood the mighty waters

More and more I feel angst against me
Behind the shadows and darkness do they hide
Filled with malice they gnash their teeth
I hide not because I trust in the Lord
So stay in the light of love and remain

I love you like no other
I know that I am a sinner
I know I have done wrong
Done nothing
To the one clothed in Christ
Oh Forgive me Lord!
I do not know what I am doing
You died for me
So I am ready to die for you

My heart burns
Fuelled by love
It churns
Out infinite blood
It yearns
For your love

Glory and Alleluia
Is so typical but inexplicable
Is the scope and wonder
Of Christ’s great return

I know where to look
Because I found
By grace and love
An answer to our prayers

Have you ever seen a rainbow at sunset?
Beautiful as can be
As the bright sun sets in my heart
The rainbow of your love appears
But not before the rain of tears

With a breath of wind
And a sigh of love
Refreshing waters
Fill the sky
Others just see rain

Dangerous tides
And near collides
Come to you by warning
Pay no heed you are saying
For none of this is shared
Neither is it aired
But that does not stop
The inevitable

My heart now burns
In earnest yearns

Making reservations
In conversations

About love divine
Creation of mine

Whilst I wait
For your song of late

Love is all that matters
Careful of what shatters
