Hot embers flying through the air
Ashes falling down like snow covering everywhere
Like snow, they stick their tongues out to catch it
To discover the bitter suffering they should admit

The dust of the fallen, forgotten in the wind
I wish this vision I had I could rescind
But it is in the works and on the way
Just when you thought you had a say

My warnings went unheeded is why
And the Lord has heard your outcry
Those who are His will not be afraid
They are the kind that do not need any aid

To stand firm in the face of adversity
With more knowledge than any university
And gifted with godly attributes they roam
