Rhythm
I know your heartbeat as it beats the rhythm
Truth is, I am not part of some algorithm
With every tip of the hat she bellows
And lets the love she has flows

With a stream of life and joy
She persists without any ploy
To take the world by storm
Into this we are born

So hold fast and close your dream
Beyond the flavours of any ice cream
To change the world one person at a time
For the greater good and with no crime

Life lets me live in truth for you
There is nothing you need to do
But receive the love I impart
For this is just the start

I cannot sing in tune with you
I cannot sing at all, that is true
So sing it for me, I plead
Your love will always take the lead

He reminded me that I am not alone
Despite the horrors a light has shone
Prayers like incense up to the nostrils of our God
Lit up the world with more than heavenly laud

His love awards us with amazement of others
So that we cage the evil that withers
Away at the soul so do not smother
It would be better for you to call on Mother

For the saints give her praise that is due
What else do you want with your heavenly crew
My love will always remember the truth
Of a glorious endearment beyond all youth

I let myself go
Never put on a show
Nobody knows
I see a murder of crows
Lingering about
Cawing loud like a shout
Warning of things ahead
Wondering if it’s all just in my head
A rally cry is heard
Do not think this is absurd
I live among immortals
It’s important not to lose your marbles
Everything is in shambles
Everyone gambles
