My heart explodes every day
Because I desire to say
I love everything about you
So what else is new?

That is just it
Nothing new is at hand or writ
I spelled out the Law of Love for you to consume
Yet you treat it like garbage, see me fume

If it is as it was when it came to pass
I saw you in my light, top class
I never looked so deep with curiosity
To discover the same love intently

I yearn and I burn with a very fiery breath
I live on despite the power of death
My desire for love and peace the same as yours
Hearts united, we would dance on the floors

Love is never lost
It does not come at a cost
Such love is free and sincere
Beyond the eyes of every seer

I wonder and I fret over the smallest things
Such as a subtle cue to give you wings
Such love begins with the word that brings
Deliverance from every evil and their kings

So I whispered a word that can bring them down
In the silence and behind the frown
God, take them down, cut them down
I heard Him say, so be it, with a frown

They wanted to raise me up yesterday
Truth be told, I refused with so much to say
To stay and endure the worst with you
Instead of from above but down here with you

Because I love you and want you in my life
Cherishing every moment as sharp as a knife
I will cut through and have cut through
By God’s mighty sword, the word that is true
