The thing about me is I rapidly heal
I never even made some lousy deal
But I have withstood the power of death

So I am before God with my complaints and praise
My word before God is never out of phase
So when I pray those words of life
I can feel the blade of your knife

I tried and tried to reveal God’s Word to you
With every instance blocked, it’s true
So if you read this now and it seems too late
Forever mind that Love is your certain fate

I wove through the tapestry of life a golden thread
And can be traced back to where I was dead
For I announced the truth with conviction
To be disseminated to an entire nation
