Dignity

She spoke to me
In the silence of my heart
Clear as a bell
Soft as a whisper
A message for all of you to hear
A message of love and peace
But you are hard of hearing
Drowning in the noise of your sorrow
That you prefer the battle

To those who profit off the people
Give it all back to the poor
Restore their dignity
Look to them for the rising star
The one shines light in your darkness
For the poor exist to serve the Lord
And know His love in chords
The Lord is with them
To the graves you put them in
So do to them what you will
You will be rewarded accordingly
By an unfathomable power

Taste

Love tastes like a treat
Your favourite beat
Supplicating for more
Love is what I adore

It really defeats all evil
Turns ash into gold and jewels
Returns life to the dead
Was it something I said?

If you were near me
I would make you see
By the Spirit’s power
A heart like a flower

I would blossom to be
One hung on a tree
Enduring it while you look on
Beaming where the sun never shone

Etched

I bore witness against those who do evil
I pleaded for mercy on their behalf
Except some were not excused
From their own blasphemy
For their hearts of stone
Kept them from love
For their refusal
Of the divine
Was etched all over their hearts of stone

Sad

Got my heart bleeding
My words are burning
Like incense before the throne
Sacrificial offering
Attained for glory
Breathing life where dead
Vivacious and wise
Forget and forgive my iniquities
Grant graces for their faces
Open their hearts please
I am very sad, see

Synchronized

Christ is in my mirror
Taking me places I have never been
I mirror Him and He me
A synchronized we
So I will remain hidden until the end

What I did and do for others
On the perfect record
Also what they did and do to me
Remember that before you speak
Glory to God comes Amen

Unseen

Cannot get enough of it
Pouring out my heartfelt expressions
Praying favours for others
Is a special gift of mine
As they are always granted
Yet I am nobody, truly
Amidst those who walked the Halls
Those like giants they are only seen
While I walk beside their feet unseen

Without Condition

Do you know what it means to love?
Without condition is the best
No mistake the behaviour
The saints all loved and lived to rest
God grants His favours
To the ones who favour love
As an answer to everything
They can hear it in your voices
See it in your actions
See to it be done with an Amen

Struck

Love what comes from within
That inkling of one’s very self
An entrance to the Kingdom
Opens up to those who love

Given that all you bear
Should only be His Cross
Perfection comes by the way
United in suffering before the end

I have been privileged
To live in the very embers of love
Seared with the burnt offerings
From the time of old to the age of now

The creed you belong to
Is what you are fighting for
But you know not the battle you are in
Seeing it is Christ fighting within

On your behalf I approached the throne
Told the Father that I love them all
Are you willing to die for them?
Was asked of me and I said a renowned, Yes

Always will I be here in one way or another
A fighting Spirit for the lost
United to God I say
To strike fear in their hearts to sway

Sinking

I pace through my past
Contemplating everything
Entering into mysteries galore
Nothing like this before

Delivering peace is tough
When battles always ensue
Due to envy and hate
When will you ever learn?

Thinking and drinking
This world is sinking
Into oblivion
What do you need to bring yourselves to forgive!?

Do not look at the flesh as beyond the man
But regard it like a holy temple
Treat it and others with compassion
And your vessel will be glorified

Being

That distance you brought between us
Keeping me from being that love
That love you long for
I can only be a certain way
That way being the Way
Cause it makes me godlike
Nobody wants to hear that though
Cannot help but the truth
Living it is life
No more strife
Cuts like a knife
His Judgement does

Mystery

A troubled heart stays awake
Determined to resolve
Empty words dissolve
Never having the true picture in mind

I remember your vanity
It got in the way
I got something to say
With you never having listened to my word

So trouble me not anymore
Your heart I adore
Let the floodgates open
Filling the room with light

Now my words falter
Falling short of the altar
My unworthiness reflected
In their judgement of me

So I picked up the pieces
Called out to Jesus
He came to me swiftly
And lifted me out of this mess

Time and time again
I never learn
The same thing happens
When I am looking for the lost

So I lost myself in the forests
Hoping for a rescue
Got nothing from you
Having Christ all to myself instead

I picked the better part
Never to be taken away
Listening intently
To what he has to say

I can tell you where to look
To find him who comes in glory
Entering into a divine mystery
Carving out a piece of history

Memories

Over time my memory fades
My human weaknesses revealed
I can no longer trust my memories
So I have to rely on His

My reliance is not defiance
It is a chance for others
To gracefully entertain
The will of the one who sent me

I honour in Christ’s Name
My God and Father
Mary my Mother
And my mother and father here on earth

By giving blessings and thanks
And praising them for their good deeds
Loving them instead of envying them
Shall I enter the true life as a child

Truly as I am
I am still and always a child
With curiosity and meekness
Taming all who surround

But they mistake my notions
For bold actions and emotions
For arrogance and vanity
Surely Love has something to say!
