A Prophet Scorned

What love that defeats death
For it was your faith and love
That raised me from the dead

Every word I write
Is a proxy to Christ
Reaching out for life
To those who are lost
Hold them close to my heart
Nurture their kindness and love
To be pillars of strength
Beyond any human measure
Hold my hand and hold me close
I will take you places you have never been

It breaks my heart
When I am helpless
To those in need
Caused by the world of greed

Watch and listen
You will soon hear and see
The ultimate response
Of unconditional love

Got a message for ya
Gonna get alot worse
Before it gets better
Better get good with God

Singing songs of redemption
Opening hearts to attention
Gracefully aware of love
Immersed in grace to lead

Breaking all the rules
Leaving one behind
To love one another
Taking to heart a new kind

Love God first
Neighbour second
Yourself third

But everyone is bitter
Resentment stenches
And they vomit their works
All over the earth

Mercy will indeed come
But those that refuse it
End up destroying themselves

This I have seen
And the horror estranged me
Sourcing Christ as my Strength
Participating in the Salvific Plan

In my Family
I am Third
In my Life
I am Third
Out of Love
I am Third

Thus I am Last
A blast from the past
Of Glory and God
And most Sacred Love

There is much I do not write
Especially of my doings or not doings
That I am ashamed of
That reflect my imperfections
Though made perfect in Christ
By His Resurrection
I am tired of persecutions
But I deserve it anyway
For my failings to be like Christ

Just because I do not think like they do
Doesn’t mean I should
So they drug me to try to change me

As I am alone
Lonely I am not
Unless alone I must be
There is at least one, surely

So listen to
What the Spirit reveals
From the Father in Heaven
His loving Will will unfold

One mystery revealed
At a time
When people are destroying themselves
Last time it was a flood

I hold back this wrath
When mercy is at play
Loving kindess and forgiveness
To my friends and enemies the same

I will never forget you
If in my heart you are in replay
Over and over again
To this I never sway

Forgiveness with love
Always defeats violence
Building bridges that burned
United under one Body as One

For whose blood was spilled
That redeemed us all from Death?

My love
My sweet
My dove
Don’t weep

I placed you securely
In my bleeding heart

I climbed up the mountain
Up the mountain of the Lord
His path set before me
To the summit I have reached

When love is bound
It bounds for the heart
Leaving in its wake
A love so profound
It will dumbfound

Without your five senses
What are you then?
How will you get around?
Whose mind are you bound?

I tell you truly
Your soul is beyond your senses
For faith and love reside there
From there His Kingdom comes
From within a Castle of Justice

Have you ever loved to wonder?
Has your countenance ever changed?
Love is always forever
Image and likeness
All in surround

Shook the earth with a word
Most people think it is absurd
But I know something you do not
How faith works, you ought

One of the prayers that helps
Is to ask Jesus to trust
His Will to my own
And mine to His

Faith is not just belief
But creed that is followed
With the utmost conviction
To love we are bound

I call upon the Lord
And He answers me
Responds with loving kindness
Beyond my wildest dreams
Got the hold on Glory
Established this foundation
Knowing all the powers of Hell
Have nothing against it
So I dare to dream
Of a love so profound
It evolved beyond Death
And in my heart it thrives

Washing angst and pain
By the love in the rain
Reign over me
So that all may see

Faded and forgotten
Dejected and rejected
I am

I approached the throne
While it was empty
Found those who testify hanging around
Walked past them to the children instead

I read the hearts of the oppressed
Better to be on the side of love
Than to be against God who is love
Watch the fire of this love
Stand up
I need you to give it your all
Remember temperance
Do not force me to lay waste

Got this notion
That on many sides
Most are in it for themselves
Few are in it for others
I am ready to deliver
Got you covered if you got the sweats
Could not care less what the world thinks
Until it comes I must judge your love
